Ski/Snowboard Club

4th, 5th, and 6th Graders are invited to join the Discovery Ski/Snowboard Club. There will be an information meeting on Wednesday, December 16th at 5:30pm in the library. A few updates

Cookie dough will be delivered on Tuesday, November 17-hopefully.

Deadline for classroom competition for box tops will end in December so keep sending them in-the class with the most wins a pizza party!!

We are collecting Campbell soup labels-check everything before you throw it away!!

Fall Carnival

I just wanted to remind everyone about the upcoming Discovery Elementary Halloween Carnival this Thursday, 29th October 5:30-8pm. There will be lots of FREE activities, food (small charge), a small Silent Auction and a Bake Sale.

If there are any of you that are willing to bring bake goods that would be REALLY appreciated. If you do, you can bring it any time that day and you can put it in Mr Marlowes office. After school we will have it set up in the gym so just bring it there.

Also if there is anyway interested in donating something for the silent auction that would be wonderful. Just let me know, Zoe 522-8141. Also call me if you could help with everything. We have a lot of volunteers already but the more the merrier!!!

I hope this night will be a great success and your kids will have a great time as well as yourselves. Thanks for always being so willing to help.

Cookie Dough

Your children should have received packets for cookie dough orders!! This year the money will be used for school improvement such as library books and playground equipment. Check out the catalogs-take them to your neighbors, family and friends!! All orders are due October 16. Good luck, have fun and be safe.
